What Do We Do In Lessons?

-fun lessons with solid, comfortable technique
-clear practice goals and schedules
-learn to play violin (including some of your favorite songs!)
-group classes to play violin with violin friends
-learning to easily read music through games

What is my experience?

-Over a decade of teaching experience in 1-1 lessons
-5 years experience teaching group violin classes in NYC private and public schools
-Students have gone on to successfully audition for youth orchestras and other music programs
-Master's and Bachelor's Degrees in Violin Performance
-Suzuki Teacher Training Units 1-3

Where are lessons held?
I teach in my home studio in Brooklyn Heights and at Class Space in Cobble Hill. Lessons are available in-person or online via Zoom or Skype.

Who do I teach?
I accept students of all levels, aged three through adult.

Class Offerings:
Private Lesson Track (rolling admissions)

-Available for beginner to advanced
-Weekly 1-1 lessons
-Monthly community group classes, available according to playing level
-Two public performances per year
-Curriculum according to student’s level and interest

Beginning Group Classes
(currently enrolling for January 2025!)

-For students with little or no experience
-Great for children curious to try the violin with friends!
-Weekly classes for 17 weeks, excluding holidays
-Sound great playing simple songs by the end of class!

What are my lesson policies?
For Private Lessons:

-Tuition is billed at the beginning of every month.
-Two weeks notice is required for cancellations and makeups.
-One free cancellation per semester at any time for any reason (sudden illness).
-Lessons will be offered online in case of illness.

For Beginning Group Classes: one makeup week per semester.
